The name Market on Maple raises a few eyebrows, now that we are located on W. 4th St. I chose the name back in 2010 when I first signed up for Etsy, with no real intention of selling items. I decided to pursue a business in 2016 & stuck with the name, I was operating out of the toy room in our home on Maple St. I love that it's acronym is M.O.M. almost a gentle nod to my favorite career. Running an ecommerce business allows me to be mom first, business owner second. Thanks to my amazing customers near and far, I quickly out grew the toy room. I moved into my work space in the Thomas Plaza in August 2017 & have been blown away by the local support! Having the retail space allows me to put faces to the names of people I work with, and get to know my customers a little more. I was only "open" a few days last year, but was over whelmed with the support of our community, and am looking forward to being Open for retail shopping more this year!
